Tuesday Night Drinking Club
Hi everyone,
This will be the last post until I get back from Dublin on Saturday, so you'll have to excuse my absence while I'm out having fun and touring the Guinness factory. Tomorrow morning we take the 7:40 am train to Dublin, have a tour of the Four Courts (Irish Supreme Court) and get to meet one of the justices. Then we have a dinner planned in Temple Bar and Friday and Saturday we can do whatever the heck we want. This could be troublesome.
Speaking of that early train, it should not be that hard to make it because I don't think ANYONE wants to drink today. Let's just say we're all a bit hungover after last night's Pikey Party. A couple of drinks ended up turning into a large party with some of our new found Irish friends. I don't know what it is about Tuesday nights. They seem to have replaced Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights as a day of celebration. Ever since the Yankee Doodle Disco at the Trinity Rooms, Tuesdays have just become the day of choice to get a little bit crazy. It's 3:30 and I still have a headache, but I attribute that partially to the fact that I haven't had any caffeine today. Oh well.
So not much going on. Our dear friends have all moved on as you can see. I'm going to miss them. There can be no crazy stories about getting punched in the stomach or alcohol requests by 5 year old girls. Tear.
