We've Arrived!
Hi Everyone,
Greetings from the Emerald Isle. This will have to be quick as we're paying up the arse to use an internet cafe before we get into our hostel. Our flight arrived early from Newark into Shannon, about 6:00 am. Then, we rented our car, a very blue and very tiny Hyundai Altos (sp?). I am the one driving because it is a stick shift, but there is a slight problem as I am too tall to fit in the drivers seat even with the seat back as far as it goes. Therefore, I sit sideways in my seat ans shift ackwardly. First real test: driving through a round-a-bout. They have a million here, and they have different types such as "mini" versus "normal." They keyboard is all messed up here, so MK and I are going to bolt. It's 50 and raining...boo to that.
Tom
Ps--First new word: shrapnel (sp) Irish slang for change. Use it in a sentence today.
