I Made Law Journal!
Hi everyone,
Not much new on this end of the front. Just going to class and reading a lot. I actually went to the library today, which is sort of a big deal because it closes at 5pm so you have to be efficient with your time to make sure you get the most from the library experience. I have been trying to get connected to the wireless network so that I can post more photos for you all, but it is proving to be very trying right now. The IT Help Desk is no help (and the lady wasn't wearing deodorant and I could tell--c'mon Europe!).
I've booked a trip to Leeds, England for the following weekend to visit a friend who I studied with for 6 months when I lived in Spain. Her parents are also coming up to visit that weekend so it should be fun. I've met them a couple of times and her "mum" is sweet enough to send me a post card every year. They are great people.
We have student birthdays tomorrow and on Sunday, so there will be a lot of celebrating this weekend. I'm off to Waterford to gaze at over priced crystal for the day on Saturday. Jenny and I have both been to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher (twice) so we're opting out of the student trip. I hope it doesn't seem like we're trying to distance ourselves, but I can't stand to look at a sheer wall of rock one more time before I might be tempted to make the leap.
Slan, Tom
Oh yeah, and I forgot to tell you that I made the Kansas Journal of Public Policy! Since I will have no social life next year, I plan to cram it all in over the next 3 weeks.
