Galway, the Burren, and Mini Pub Crawl

Hi Everyone,

So I am going to post some new photos up through Hello, but until then, I'll just keep you updated on what's going on. As previously mentioned, we arrived into Galway at 6am on Sunday morning. Best part, no customs! If you ever need to get anything into Ireland, just do it at 6am on a Sunday because there will be absolutely no one there. We got or Hyundai and proceeded to Galway. We had absolutely no idea where we were going, but I happened to make a couple of turns and MK spotted out hostel with her eagle eyes. Good work! We checked in, and I knew it would be a little different when I saw the hand drawn sign on the wall that said "Pot for Sale." It's a little nasty, but that makes us stronger, right?

Yesterday afternoon we spent the day napping and getting acclimated. We saw the cathedral and Shop Street. We even went on a little river walk. After dinner, we decided to grab "a" drink. It turned into a 4 stop mini pub crawl, ending at about 2:30 am. I was just amazed how light it is at 11:30 at night (the pictures don't do it justice).

A little hungover this morning, we boarded a bus at 10am and headed to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. It would have been fine if it hadn't lasted 8 hours! I felt like I was on the bus all damn day. Our driver was good, but we had the most annoying Dutch group on there and they kept causing us to be late. They also don't understand how to form a line to save their lives, can't meet deadlines, and violate my personal space bubble. Needless to say we left 5 of them up on the Cliffs after we waited 20 minutes for them to get on the bus.

Tonight we're planning our trip to Sligo. We're going to go through Connemara tomorrow to see an abbey and then up the coast. Wednesday will be the hard day, with a dive of nearly 220 miles from north to south. It's been a blast, Tom
